While visiting relatives in Coudersport, PA, I asked them to take me around to local haunted places. The story about this house goes back over 40 years. This top floor window faces a school playground and many children often saw a man in a top hat glaring down at them although the house goes unoccupied more often than being lived in. Although at first glance, I didn't notice anything abnormal concerning these photos, on closer inspection I found that the shade in the upper window changed positions (see the little hole and the bottom of the shade).

The little hole initially is on the right side of the window and by the third frame is completely moved to the left. In order for this to happen logically, the shade would have had to have been removed, reversed, and hung back up. I was there a total of 2 minutes at best. Also by the third photo the shade is lowered but on corner is lifted up where it went uniformly across seconds before. Add to this the fact that NO ONE lives in this house..no one alive and breathing that is. These type of phenomena tell me that spirit energy can present itself in ways that are not always obvious nor immediately noticable.

Many, many of you have written in with an understandable viewpoint of these photos; that it is NOT the little hole or window shade that has changed - just my location as I moved closer taking the pictures and that there is not a shade at all, just the ceiling, looking different from my (moved) perspective. I see exactly what you mean by this, HOWEVER, I definitely recall a shade being on the window as I stood there, underneath the window...
On a recent visit back to Coudersport, I learned that this house has been torn down. An empty lot is all that is left.

Hi, Donna, My name is John and I was looking at your empty house photo, frankly I don't see a man's face but, I do see two figures in the upper window. I do feel a evil feeling about the house, like someone, or something is watching or laughing at the viewer. Man I really scared myself there.

Donna, did you ever notice the man's face in the lower left of the window of the photo named empty house? I have blown it up below and enhanced it using Photoshop. The red square surrounds the area in question.

Hi Donna: in your picture of the empty house did you notice the lower window. if you follow through the pictures you will notice the curtain opening where the first picture shows a closed curtain and the second somewhat open and the third picture the curtain is more open i wonder!!!!!! thewitche, Toronto
