A TAROT, TEA OR COFFEE READING BY DONNA Kent
It was on a beautiful April day in 1997 when this photo was taken. The building is Smucker Hall, also known as Old Dorm" at the Lutheran Seminary. It was around 2:30 in the afternoon. A friend of mine and I were pulling away from the curb after looking over the building using a Gettysburg Auto tour tape. As I pulled away from the curb, I looked back and saw a face in the window. I stopped, grabbed my camera and snapped several pictures. I could see the man's face, but not until the photo was enlarged did the other faces show up. Kodak has looked at this photo and have no clue as to what could have created this. If you study the two lower panes in the window, you will notice that the left hand pane shows distinctly the trees reflected in it. In the right hand pane, most of the reflection is gone. I have been back several times since then and nothing has shown up in the window or any other windows again.

Dear Ms. Kent,
The Gettysburg Face photo on your site appears to be the face of a soldier looking to our left out of the window. He is wearing a shako type military hat, and the emblem can be seen on the front. He appears to have curly hair and a moustache and the strap securing his hat can be seen strapped under his chin. I have heard and read stories of people standing and gazing out of windows during thunder storms, and when a bolt of lightning strikes at a certain location or angle it can actually act like the flash on a camera and somehow imprint the likeness of the person onto the glass of the window, much like an old photographic plate. Maybe on a stormy evening long ago a soldier was gazing out of this window during a storm and this happened. Have you heard anything of this effect, and if so can you tell me if this is actually possible?

Dear Thomas,.. Hey.. it sounds feasible...
Maybe an expert would care to comment as I cannot say whether what you
propose is an actual (although probably rare) occurrance. If anyone out
there cares to comment, please do! I'll post it here.
