This next picture is of my grandfather visiting Greece. My brother,
who was also there, took this picture. If you look closely at the whitish,
foggy blob, you will see a funnel shape and a black hole type spot just
beneath it. |

This picture is of me and my oldest child. If you look closely, you
can see the dates on my great-grandparent's tombstone. Would you believe
the daughter I am holding was born on November 8th? And even stranger,
my brother's child was born 3 months later, on February 9th. If you look
closely, you'll see February 9th is the day Manuel died.

This is a photo of my cousin, taken when she was experiencing
some personal problems. I was looking through some old pictures, and came
across this one. After having viewed many of the snaps on your website,
I thought I'd send you this; I'm not sure what that black thing is in the
left side of the picture, but it seems to be a "dryer hose" sort of thing.
In the original, you can definitely see the wall behind her through this
aberration. There's no strap on that camera; it's a Cannon
SureShot and at one time it had a wrist-strap. It was jerked off my wrist
on Beale Street during the MusicFest when it was three days old, and when
it was recovered (ten minutes later) the only damage was (my bruised wrist
- haha) to the little piece of plastic where the strap attached. I never
bothered to get it fixed - takes great pictures - and I have a carrying
case for it. Do you have any ideas about that picture? I have a feeling
that the anomaly is directly related to her state of mind when that photo
was taken, just look at her face. She looks haunted, to me. We're pretty
close,
but I didn't find out what was going on in her life until last night when
I showed her the picture for the purpose of pointing out that black thing.
Now that I know what she was going through, I think it's some pretty bad
energy. |

Notice the two faces appearing in the photograph. One is of a small
girl, one is of an old man. Scott is a photographer, he admits to
being able to "feel" the presence of ghosts. One day in a hotel in South
Australia he captured these amazing entities on film. Here is Scott's story:
Years ago my brother and his wife and kids moved into a hotel
in Gawler, South Australia, a small town north of Adelaide. After carrying
out renovations on the building that was built in 1836, strange things
started to happen, people started to hear strange things and see the apparition
of a small girl and an older man. Being a sceptic I didn't believe it until
my brother started to see things as well. All the stories from different
people were the same so I got interested, and being a photographer (Weddings
etc.) I thought I would have a go at getting something on film. A friend
and I stayed in the hotel all night in the section which used to be the
Gawler morgue last century before it was turned into a hotel. It was very
eerie and I could feel the presence of the spirits or what ever you call
them. It was so strong a feeling that it is hard to describe. This photo
was taken on 3,200iso speed Kodak TMax film B&W. I also tried inferred
film
without much success. After developing the film I had a quick look
at it and didn't think I had captured anything until a week or so later
when I was doing some testing in the dark room and I noticed a negative
which looked different than the rest. I made a copy and could not believe
it. I then took a copy to every photo expert I could find and they all
said it was unexplainable. After the initial carry on about it, we decided
to throw them in a draw and forget about it until the local Gawler paper
"The Bunyip" contacted me 4 or 5 years later In March 1998. The South Australian
Advertiser (South Australia's main newspaper) also ran a story on the photo
in March. Then in April the same year "A Current Affair" (TV Program) did
an interview with me at the Old Spot Hotel which aired on Channel 9 in
April, 1998 around Australia.

Donna,
I am from New Jersey, I am sending you 3 photos taken last
Saturday at an abandoned nursing home near my house. A friend took 24 pictures
at the location to show us what it looks like inside. And only a few look
this way!
The camera works fine, I never saw anything like this before
in all my years of photography. I started searching the web after consulting
a professional lab that could not explain the "smoke" in the pictures.
They confirm the processing did not cause this. The location on Photo
#1 (With my buddy Jim) was taken outside the abandoned Hilltop Nursing
Home located in Montville New Jersey. |

My friends and I read Weird NJ and enjoy the stories but this place
scared everyone who explored that building. No one saw this "smoke" at
the time the photos were taken! It was clear in the building and no fog
outside, And nobody was smoking. This is not a hoax or special effects.
These photos match some of your images. Photo #2
is on the first floor. Photo #3 is at the nurses station, I would love
to visit this place again but I think all my friends will never go near
it after viewing the photos. Will something like this happen again? Or
did we just luck out! Any clues on how to "catch" something like this better
on film?

a Haunted Location Handbook" |

Thanks Donna, if you need more info let me know. If you ever want
to visit this location it would require you to trespass on the property,
but I have heard talk of demolition of the structure so time is not on
our side. It has been vacant for about two years now and kids are starting
to vandalize it now. Oddly some of the interior lights were on in the building
at the time of the visit too. |

Hi Donna,
I'm sorry I wasn;t able to attend your function on 1/22 while I
was in town, but I thought that you might like to see what my camera captured
when I went walking thru a cemetery on 1/23 @ 3:30pm. I would like you
to know that although it had rained earlier in the day, when I took the
pictures, there was no mist, fog or rain. I didn't get the name of the
cemetery I took these in, but I can tell you that it is located on the
outskirts of NORWICH, CT off Rt 165. Here is a synopsys of the pics that
I took: #1, My FIRST ecto shot. In 12 years
of hunting, I have never captured any ecto. FINALLY I got some! Pretty
neat eh? You can see individual orbs in the ecto too! |

# 2 Just your normal everyday run of
the mill orb shot. I liked it the because of the headstone. |

#3 (MY FAVORITE)Shows a childs
gravestone. Look at the lamb. Do you see an orb completely encircling
it? Also note that the other orbs are off to the left hand side as if to
say "The little one is more important, but we want to be seen too!"
I had a very strange experience in this cemetery. As I was strolling thru
it, I was talking to the residents, watching my footing as it had rained
earlier & the ground was slippery. I asked if anyone wanted me to take
thier picture, to please stop me (i'm a bit clairaudient, so I figured
I'd hear them) and I would do as they requested. I was walking along and
all of the sudden I felt a pressure around my ankle, I took another step
& still felt it. So I looked down again & there was a honeysuckle
vine wrapped around my ankle. I could smell the fragrance, but it's WINTER,
there were no flowers. So I snapped the picture & thanked the resident.
It is of that grave that I got the 2nd picture. Interesting, no?
Thanks! Dianna
Just one small caveat: These pics were taken with a Cannon 35mm
camera using Fuji 200spd Film |
